If you were scripting some comedy, this department would be a stretch too far.

If you were casting actors as the "managers" at CSD, you'd be hard-pressed to find actors with the range to play the characters who pass as management here. Actually, they wouldn't actually need much range. Simply the ability to do pure cartoonish absurdity. That, mixed with a deadpan delivery.

You have to wonder what Shane actually advertise for when they are scouting for managers.

Able to sit at a desk - check.

Ignore emails - check.

Not even pretend to give a fuck (unless a client, or Japanese staff member makes even the mildest comment) - check.

Evasive, shifty, circuitous with any answer - check.

I should imagine low pay goes without saying. This lot are hardly the brightest and the best. That was two years of my life that I'll never get back.
